To Suffer Boundless Ambition
Lady Sun Lee
After the Scion of the Void encountered a dying star, they witnessed an Eldar vessel assaulting a jade light cruiser, the Nihontu, which they rescued from the Eldar corsair.
Her Captain, Lady Sun Lee, matriarch of House Ma’kao, was gracious for their help and offered to have a duel with Lord Captain Eizen Halix to first blood. The two captains were brave and fast, savvy and well equipped, but the better fighter came out on top. Captain Lee’s sword, rumored to have been made on Holy Terra itself while the God-Emperor still walked among mortal men, cleaved through the Captain Halix’s armor and deep into his forearm, boiling the marrow until the bone literally shattered.
Summoning the strength to bow in respect of her deadly skill, Lord Captain Eizen Halix had earned her admiration and respect.
Having arrived in the wake of the Scion of the Void’s immaterium wake, the Nihontu arrived at Quppa-Psi-12 soon after, where the Captain decided to take a small retinue: Lok Macharius, her lead Astropath Transcendant, and a small cadre of loyal bodyguards.
Exploring the lush world, Lee had crossed paths with Halix and his right hand men, where they decided to explore together as a shared adventure, and she pressed for more exciting and intimate encounters with Eizen.
Reaching the very apex of what they were all searching for, what they thought at that time to be the Dread Pearl itself, Sun Lee fought side by side against Baron Djanko Scourge with Eizen Halix as a trusted partner and would-be companion. Launching herself at a skimmer filled to the brim with Scourge’s men hailing gunfire, Captain Lee attacked with a calm grace only displayed by those who truly grasped destiny by whatever means necessary, Lee met her end at the end of a barrel. In the middle of the fray, the super heated energy fired by Mortimer Alesaunder Hobbes made mortal contact with Lee in the back of her head, sending it careening into the forest, her lifeless body dropping into the occupied skimmer.
Having witnessed Hobbes’ act, Lord Captain Sun Lee’s guards and Astropath Macharius were horrified to see their Lord killed in front of their eyes and fired back at the transgressor. Lok Mecharius nearly forced Hobbes to take his own life with the gun he had used to kill Captain Lee, but he repelled her command as his peers shot her down, burning the Soul-Bound Psyker’s body to a smoking demise.
